Pakistani star Babar Azam, made his first century in the world cup, which resulted in Pakistan winning the match from six wickets. Said that, “his aim is to become the best batsman in the world. He is already twenties 20s top ranked batsman in the world. He admitted that Pakistan have the belief that they can give the same performance in their next matches and complete the turnaround to reach in World Cup 2019 semi final.
“I can say that this is one of my best knocks because the aim is to be the best batsman in the world,” said Babar Azam after winning the match, scored 101.
Capton sarfaraz hit the score in the final over as they finished it by 241-4 against New Zealand.
“Belief has been the key,” said Babar who secured a century with 124 balls with 11 fours.
Babar said his role had been to bat until the end of the innings.
“I was given a role to bat until the end and others bat around me and that worked well as Mohammad Hafeez and then Haris (Sohail) batted well to establish partnerships,” said Babar.
